Enjoy fireworks in classic OBX fashion -- from the beach! Avalon Pier is located at 2111 N Virginia Dare Trail. Fireworks can be seen from a variety of accesses and stretches of beach. We recommend finding a beach spot before sunset where you are within view of the pier. Friendly reminder that watching from the dunes is prohibited, but there will be plenty of space on the beach to spread out and throw down a blanket and beach chairs.

In addition, there will be a decorate bike and apple pie contests. At 4:30 Formula Band will be taking the Courthouse Stage, and the Silver Bullets at the Boathouse Stage from 7pm-9pm. Fireworks to begin after dark and can be viewed from Manteo's waterfront, Festival Park, or by boat, as they will be launched over Shallowbag Bay.
